When can I get the app?

Hereabouts is still in development. It's coming to the App Store and Google Play. Email us if you'd like to hear when it's out.

Who can see my check-ins?

A check-in to your networks is seen only by their members: all your networks, or just one. A General check-in is public to other Hereabouts users: anyone looking at the Nearby map within 5 miles of it can see it, wherever they are, because anyone can look at any area. You can shrink that distance with a Radius Limit. Every check-in disappears after the time you pick, from 1 to 12 hours.

Does the app track my location?

No. Hereabouts uses your location only while you're using it, to place a check-in or show the map. It never tracks you in the background.

How do I report someone?

In the app, open their post or profile and choose Report. To raise anything else about safety, email support@gethereabouts.app.
